Time Zone
Cairns & Great Barrier Reef operates on Eastern Standard Time (ETS). This can be calculated by adding 10 hours to Greenwich Mean Time. Daylight savings is not observed in Queensland.
Passports and Visas

Visitor Information
The Cairns and Tropical North Visitor Information Centre (VIC) is centrally located in Cairns city at the southern end of The Esplanade. The VIC is open seven days a week.
